Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997. The Club returned to Soldier Field as well as opened a new 50,000 square foot business office in the heart of the city. With tremendous growth and expansion, the Club is laying the foundation for an ambitious vision that will transform the Club in the coming years. Position Overview:Chicago Fire is hiring for a Community Relations / Chicago Fire Foundation Intern! This position will report to the Manager of Foundation & Community Programs and will assist with execution for Chicago Fire Foundation programming and community development projects.  Job Responsibilities: Assist in coordination of game day 50-50 raffle program Assist in development and execution of present and future community relations programs (including IDEA, Beacon, Special Olympics)Assist with operational execution of Foundation programming (including P.L.A.Y.S., Kicks for Kids and Passback)Organize monthly autograph sessions and send out donation requestsAssist with administrative tasks, participant surveys and tracking, recaps, and grant writing Other duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications:Previous community service experience or heart to serve othersSelf-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work autonomously and use excellent judgment in escalating issues to supervisorsProven ability to work on simultaneous projects while maintaining attention to detailWillingness to learn in a fast-paced, high-performing work environmentKnowledgeable of the Chicagoland Area Proficient in Microsoft Office Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed Please note:Chicago Fire FC is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
