The North Carolina Football Club, the parent organization of the NC Courage (first-division women’s pro soccer team playing in the NWSL) and North Carolina FC (second-division men’s pro soccer team playing in USL Championship), is seeking a Community Relations Intern that will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing the NC Football Club’s connection with the local community. This position will primarily focus on the planning and execution of events aligned with the club’s platforms and pillars. The successful candidate will have a creative mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a genuine passion for community engagement. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Event Planning and Execution:Work closely with the Community Relations team to plan, organize, and execute events that support the club’s community initiatives. Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, staffing, and other operational facets for events.  Develop and implement event timelines and production schedules.  Community Outreach:  Assist the Community Relations Coordinator with local collaborations (schools, organizations, and community groups) to enhance the club’s presence in the community.  Assist in the development of partnerships and sponsorships to support community platforms and pillars. Evaluation and Reporting Collect and analyze date related to community events to measure success and impact.  Prepare post-event reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.  Game Day Support:  Execute in-game community activations, such as on-field presentations, fan engagement activities, and promotions.  Collaborate with the Operations and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of community initiatives to the overall game day experience. We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
