Position SummaryCharlotte FC is actively seeking a Community Relations Intern who will work directly with both Charlotte FC community initiatives and Camps and Clinics. Primary ResponsibilitiesWill assist in ongoing Charlotte FC community initiatives including:Captain’s AcademyGreater GoalsPitches for ProgressWill assist in the planning and execution of events including making site visits and providing program and administrative supportAttend Community Partnership meetingsAssist in launching new community events:Kick Childhood CancerUnified TeamMilitary Support initiativesMeals on the MoveCharlotte Soccer Awards BanquetSoccer Tennis TournamentAssist with Camps and Clinics program in the community; program planning, promotion and registration, site coordination, equipment managementWork across multiple internal departments to help execute initiatives and eventsAssist with day-to-day planning and project management of all programs and eventsAdditional related duties as assigned QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentMust have a valid US Driver’s licenseMust pass pre-employment screensSoccer knowledge is a plus Skills for SuccessStrong work ethic and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorks well within in a collaborative, team-driven, and goal-based environmentWorks well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitudeMust be a team player, reliable, and dependable with a can-do attitudeMust maintain complete confidentiality of privileged, and/or sensitive informationMust, at all times, display the character and values of the Tepper Sports Entertainment brandThe ability to prioritize workload to manage time and tasks Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThis position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Local travel to events may be required.
