East Fife Community Football Club

Community Engagement and Inclusion Officer

Role Type

Posting Date

Jan 25, 2023

Role description

East Fife Community Football Club is currently one of the biggest providers of recreational football in the Scottish FA’s East Region. As well as programmes that run in Levenmouth and the East Neuk, primarily delivered to children of school age, we also provide health and wellbeing activities in partnership with the SPFL Trust and other professional bodies on top of organised team activities for males and females of all ages.

The Levenmouth area is historically seen as one of Scotland’s highest areas of deprivation and as the only football club in the SPFL in the area we are uniquely placed to help tackle the deprivation gap which is being further widened by the current cost of living crisis. Our bases at Bayview Stadium and King George V Park put us at the heart of the community.

The Community Engagement and Inclusion Officer post is essential to allow EFCFC to become involved with the wider families of our current members, our local partners and also to identifying those who are most isolated in the area. They will take on the management of current programmes and identify, with other partners, opportunities to reduce the pressures faced by local health and financial services.
