Job Description – Community and Fan Relations CoordinatorNorth Carolina Football ClubReports to: Director, CommunityFLSA Status: Exempt Position Purpose:The North Carolina Football Club is looking for a new Community and Fan Engagement Coordinator. This position will drive awareness for both the NC Courage and NCFC teams by organizing, managing, and attending community events, leading the club's community and social media influencer program, and being a customer service agent for the in-game fan experience, with the overall goal of growing and strengthening the Club's connection with our fan base.Job Responsibilities: Drive Club awareness in the community by organizing, managing, and attending community events.Support Club fan base growth.Lead and manage the Club's Community and Social Media Influencer Program.Collect data at events that helps grow audience and lead generation for the organization.Maximize the pregame and in game fan experience by managing and participating in tailgates, festivals, fan contests and other activities.Support fan-centric marketing efforts and contribute insights to inform marketing campaigns.Promote and attend special events like preseason fan parties, fundraisers, or other important club gatherings.Conduct fan surveys, monitor, track, and report on fan sentiment in coordination with the Marketing team.In-depth knowledge of ticket offerings, merchandise, and other club product offerings.Work closely with the other departments within the organization, specifically ticketing and sales.Other job duties as assigned.Qualifications: Must be willing to travel locally.Must be willing to work non-traditional hours that include weekends, nights and holidays.Outgoing, creative self-starter that has strong leadership skills, while thriving in a team environment.Event management or planning experience. Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of the soccer supporter landscape and community.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus (Spanish preferred).Ability to lead and manage a team.Good time-management skills.Must be able to work at the North Carolina Football Club headquarters in Raleigh, NC.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met or may be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
