As a Communications Manageryou will be responsible fora range of non-football communications at Manchester Cityand City Football Groupwith a particular emphasison the Etihad Campusand wider corporate communications
This is Your City

Your Impact
Draft communications collateral and materials,including papers,press releases, biographies,speechesand briefing notes.
Develop and manage relationships with a broad variety of stakeholdersacrossManchesterand specifically, thoserelated to the ongoingdevelopment of theClubs entertainment destination at the Etihad Campus.
Provide PR and communications support for activities related to various CSR initiatives that are delivered locally within Greater Manchester and on the wider Etihad Campus.
Assist with the delivery of Clubs corporate reporting, specifically Manchester Citys Annual Report and any associated communications activities.
Proactively seek and create good news stories to share through Club channels.
Act as a brand ambassador to ensure our identity and values are properly represented as we communicate with abroad range of audiences.
What we are looking for
Essential
Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Experience of working in communications / PR
Experience of managing relationships in a multi-stakeholder environment
Outstanding communication skills; written and presentation skills
Excellent grasp of the social, economic and political landscape in Greater Manchester and the role Manchester City Football Club can play as tool for good
Demonstrated experiences of media relations
Flexible and patient with strong negotiation skills and powers of persuasion
Team player who can adapt to work well across different teams and manage multiple stakeholders
Willing either to take the initiative or form a critical part of a larger team
Self-motivated and focussed to work to own deadlines
