We are currently looking for a colleague to join our Singapore office as a Commercial Director. If you have previous experience in the sports and soccer industry, with at least 3-5 years' experience in sales or sponsorship roles, read on!

Tasks and responsibilities

Analyzing the current situation of sports and football industry within SEA region.
Conducting key market research of football sponsorship trends (hot industries, brands, etc.) in Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
Identifying new business opportunities and leads within the region according to LALIGA’s value proposition and the market and industry requirements.
Preparing proposals to approach key brands for commercial partnerships.
Negotiating and closing commercial agreements in Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, which would include attending negotiation meetings with clients.
Ensuring the legal consistency of sponsorship and commercial contracts.
Staffing requirements of sales, marketing, and activation team for LaLiga SEA, Australia, Japan & S. Korea.
Registering and tracking all commercial opportunities through LALIGA’s commercial Salesforce system.
Contributing to product development and innovation to enhance the sale of the Company's products in Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, Australia.
Coordinating new opportunities and commercial leads together with other LALIGA regions and Headquarters, as well as monthly reporting to the company’s Head of Commercial.

Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated previous experience in the sports and football industry, with at least 3-5 years of experience in sales or sponsorship roles.
References of closed sponsorship agreements in the territory
Relevant contacts of agencies and brands in the territory
Deep knowledge of the football market and sponsorships in Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
Exceptional market research and trend analysis skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to craft persuasive proposals.
Proven experience in negotiating and closing commercial deals.
Solid understanding of legal contract management for commercial and sponsorship agreements.
Ability to lead and manage sales and marketing teams.
Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
Results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Fluency in English and one or more languages.
Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
