Working with businesses and organisations across the world, this team aims to develop and deliver long-term corporate alliances and continue breaking revenue records within the industry.The Purpose: The Manager will lead the Commercial Analytics team that is responsible for equipping the Club Commercial Sales team with industry-leading narratives that showcase the unique opportunities delivered via a partnership with the Club.The Role:

Developing a comprehensive framework that enables a highly tailored approach for each potential partner.
Ensuring that the Commercial Analytics team's efforts are aligned with the overarching mission of becoming the most measurably effective partnership in sport.
Creating a roadmap for integrating new Commercial Analytics capabilities into the go-to-market process, which will involve onboarding sessions with key stakeholders.
Managing a team of three Commercial Analysts and two full-time Associates, providing performance development, technical upskilling, and career mentoring.
Overseeing the workflow of the Commercial Analytics team, including scoping sessions with Sales Managers, shaping analysts' work, and conducting briefing sessions to ensure relevance to ongoing discussions with prospects.
Future opportunities exist to present the work first-hand in sales meetings and may require international travel.
Possessing a unique blend of subject matter expertise and advanced analytics skills to effectively analyse data and provide actionable insights.
Maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape to ensure the Club's market-leading position is maintained and enhanced.
Overall, the Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of the Commercial Analytics team and supporting the Club's strategic partnerships through data-driven insights and tailored approaches.

The Person:

Previous experience in an analytics leadership role in asimilar field.
Ability to maintain a strategic outlook while ensuring the Commercial Analytics team meets consistent deliverables.
Commitment to continuously improving processes and methodologies within the team.
Effective Leadership and Team Building: Ability to foster a positive working environment and bring out the best in team members, actively promoting collaboration and teamwork.
Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills.
Proficiency in creating easily understandable presentations for non-technical audiences.
Understanding of Sports Marketing: Anunderstanding of why companies invest in sports marketing, with experience in analysing global fan engagement metrics, consumer research, and financial impact metrics.
Strong analytical skills paired with a refined commercial acumen to derive actionable insights from data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VBA, as well as experience with correlation analytics and regression analysis.
Proficiency in Analytics Tools: Experience with analytics tools at least one of the below:SemRush, Adobe Analytics, BrandWatch, Audiences, Salesforce, Blinkfire, Google Ad Manager, Q Research Software, and/or Qualtrics.


Previous experience in an analytics leadership role and with a focus on marketing, sports marketing, sponsorship, financial modelling and/or economics.
Advanced level presentation building skills, ideally in Apple Keynote.
