Ajax-Sarkkiranta is looking for a full-time coaching manager!

Ajax-Sarkkiranta is a football club from Kempel, founded in 1997. We do strong junior work in high-quality conditions. More than 800 of our players train in excellent conditions on Kempele's grass and artificial turf fields and in the full-scale football hall, Kempeleareena. In connection with that, the players are also served by a smaller training hall in the winter. The sports hall operating in connection with Kempeleareena guarantees high-quality services for every member of the football community. Our operations, which are focused on the immediate vicinity of Oulu, strongly invest in cooperation with other clubs in the region to develop the competitive player path of the Hercules community. In addition to Ajax-Sarkkiranta, the Hercules community of over 3,000 players includes Tervarit Juniorit, Haukiputaaan Pallo, Limingan Pallokarhut and FC Raahe. In addition to strong conditions and the development of a player path, our club invests not only in competitive activities for both girls and boys, but also in low-threshold football. Ajax-Sarkkiranta was awarded for its merits nationwide as the Grassroots Club of the Year 2021.

We are now looking for a training manager to be responsible for the following matters in our company:

Development of the club's coaching expertise and evaluation and monitoring methods
Promoting, implementing and monitoring the club's coaching policy
Needs assessment and coordination of trainer trainings (possibility of trainer duties as well)
Managing matters related to Huuhkaja and Helmaripolu coaching
Coaching issues of club cooperation and follow-up regarding the age groups that have moved to cooperative clubs.
Allocating practice shifts to teams
Coordination of the club's goalkeeper training
School cooperation: Morning exercises of the high school's sports team on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, for the participants, cooperation with the school. Promoting the cause of the middle school physical education class.
Supporting the coaching of target age groups. Target ages:
According to our strategy, the prioritized age groups are U6-U12, also possible in U13 and older age groups.
The coaching manager's target age groups and their number can be agreed upon in more detail according to the skills, experience and development goals of the applicant and the staff responsible for supporting the current coaching (5y5 checker manager/boys, 5y5 checker manager/girls and 8y8/11y11 coaching manager/girls, women)
The work can start between August 1 and November 1, 2024 or later according to the agreement. The job includes evening and weekend work. It is possible to agree on the job description in more detail according to the employee's strengths. The employment relationship is valid until further notice and includes a 6-month trial period. Total weekly working time 37.5 hours.

Standard:

UEFA B or higher football coaching qualification. Education in the field of sports, pedagogy and other related to sports and football is considered an advantage.
Experience in soccer coaching and its organization
Experience working with children/youth
Knowledge of the sport of football
Management of office software (e.g. Microsoft Office and Google applications) and good communication skills
