ROLE DESCRIPTION
FC Jazz is looking for a coaching competence developer (VOK) for a full-time employment relationship
The Finnish Football Federation has granted club support to the highest quality clubs in its jurisdictions (about 30 clubs) for the years 2025–2026, among which FC Jazz is also included. Seuratuki is directed to the development of coaching expertise according to the Finnish Football Association's mandate. Because of this, FC Jazz is looking for a coaching competence developer (VOK) for a full-time and full-time employment relationship to support, sharpen and develop its already high-quality and good national level operations.
FC Jazz is the most successful football club in the whole of Satakunta, which competes at an ambitious national level, always in terms of children's and youth football, as well as representative football. There are players in the club from 3-year-old boys and girls all the way to adults, whose journey towards their own peak is supported by a large number of committed people throughout the club community.
FC Jazz is committed to training its members of the coaching network in its own club community in the Satakunta area, in accordance with the club support granted by the Finnish Football Federation and the strategy of developing coaching expertise. Our goal is to move towards a shared vision, that every child and young person in our domain will also have a competent and trained coach in the future, as well as the best possible support for every child to start a hobby and progress towards their own peak in this king sport. We are looking for an enabler to realize this vision in the form of a coaching expertise developer (VOK) for a full-time employment relationship as part of FC Jazz's high-quality sports unit.

What do we expect from the applicant?
At least a UEFA B coaching qualification (or an immediate written plan for its possible completion)
Experience in coaching children and young people
Evidence of pedagogical competence (professional training in the field is considered an advantage)
Understanding of the contents of the core processes of coaching expertise and the ability to lead their deepening in player development in Finnish football
Excellent communication skills
Required IT skills and ability to document work materials
Fluent command of the Finnish language is required for the job (command of English and Swedish is considered an advantage)

Working time: 37.5 h/week
Work assignments also on weekday evenings and weekends
The work will start according to the agreement or at the latest from 1 January 2025
The work is initially temporary until December 31, 2026, but may continue after this as well
The person selected for the position must present the extract from the register required of those working with children in accordance with Section 6 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993)
