ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Hawks' soccer league is advertising for coaches to work for the league's junior teams for the 2024-2025 season. Women are especially encouraged to apply.

There has been a lot of development in the league's work, and a magnificent football building will completely change the entire facilities of the Hawks' football league in a very growing part of Hafnarfjörður, where new apartment buildings are being built with great vigor in Skarðshlíð, Hamranes and elsewhere.

We are therefore looking for strong trainers to participate in the fun projects ahead. We are offering a lively and fun job at a rapidly growing club in excellent conditions for football practice.

Education and qualification requirements
- A coaching degree from KSÍ or a plan to train as a coach
- It is desirable that applicants have experience in training children and young people
- A burning interest in training
- A positive outlook on life and excellent leadership and communication skills
- Independence in work and the ability to work with others
- Initiative and drive
- General computer skills and the ability to communicate in written and spoken language
- Has a good organization of things and is punctual
- A clean criminal record is a requirement

The job
- Supervising the organization of exercises and games for the relevant group or groups
- Participation in tournaments of the respective category or categories
- Communication with parents via Sportabler
- Use of VEO and other tools where applicable
- Communication with the parent council of the respective categories for organizing tournaments and/or competition trips
- Cooperation with the club's coach
- The coach works according to the league's values: STRESS TEAM HEALTH COURAGE JOY
