Sutton United Football Club is located in Sutton and plays in the English Football League, Division Two. Our home games are held at the VBS Community Stadium on Gander Green Lane in Sutton. After 123 years as a non-league football club, Sutton United made history by winning the National League and earning promotion to the football league for the 2021/22 season. The Academy play and train at a private facility in Burgh Heath.

Role Description

These are part-time, on-site roles as an Academy Coach at Sutton United Football Club. The Academy Coach will be responsible for day-to-day coaching of academy players, developing training programs, and conducting player assessments. The coach will also collaborate with other coaching staff to design and implement player development strategies.

Qualifications

Experience in coaching football at the academy level
Strong knowledge of football training techniques and strategies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Certifications in coaching or relevant qualifications
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passion for player development and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
Understanding of youth development principles
Minimum FA Level 3 coaching qualification (or equivalent)
