We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Club Coach Liaison to join our mission to share our story, win championships, increase, and delight our fans. We’re making memories and engaging our community through this beautiful game. The Club Coach Liaison is responsible for establishing meaningful relationships with local youth clubs and other soccer organizations. This position serves as the face of San Diego Wave Fútbol Club and is an ambassador for the organization in the community and surrounding region. Our Club Coach Liaison runs and/or participates in running training sessions for local youth and other surrounding soccer organizations. In addition, this role supports player development and identification. This is a full-time role in San Diego, California. Depending upon education, skill set, and experience, the annual base salary range is $70,000 - $72,500.  ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Establish and grow relationships with local clubs and other soccer organizations.Assist in designing and delivering player development and team training programs to local soccer organizations.Organize and assist in running camps and clinics.Run and/or participate in coaching education, training programming, and camp programming.Serve as the face of the club and be an ambassador for the organization in the community and surrounding region.Perform coaching education events and coordinate continuing education opportunities for coaches in the local clubs.With the approval of the head coach, attend first team training session to learn and facilitate club methodologies, help develop player profiles and assist in facilitating head coach’s needs.Support player development and identification – link local clubs with San Diego Wave FC.Assist in directing the academy team(s) for all training sessions and matches. QUALIFIED?USSF B License or higherMinimum of 8 years coaching experience with youth players and coaches. Experience identifying high potential players.Ability to travel to camps and clinics at times working outside of traditional business hours, at night and on weekends.Excellent interpersonal skills specifically working with minors, their guardians, professional athletes, and coaches.Proficient in MS Office.Must be positive, proactive, and professional.Must pass background check and be SafeSport certified.English and/or Spanish language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.If you meet the above qualifications and are ready to take on the challenge of leading our professional soccer club to success, we want to hear from you.
