Port Vale is seeking to hire a Chef de partie to join the club’s catering department.
Reporting To: Executive Chef
Location: Vale Park, Stoke
Hours: To work five days out of seven, including evening shifts.
Key Roles Responsibilities:
Preparation, presentation and service of food to a high standard across all aspects of the business
Comply with all Health Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Requirements
Adhere to the standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and associated areas
Be actively involved in the management of stock and staff, alongside the senior kitchen team
Training supervision of junior team members
Person Specification:
Experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Food Safety, Health Safety and COSHH
Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and have NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cookery or an equivalent qualification
Great team worker
Good levels of communication and spoken English
Some banqueting experience preferred
Although not essential, applicants will also have a full clean driving license and access to their own car
