Main goalThe Central Services Coordinator is responsible for planning and providing support service logistics for staff and suppliers working on the EURO 2024 tournament. This is done using the EURO 2024 staffing plan in UEFA’s FAME database, which is maintained and updated through regular meetings with all EURO project teams. The database is used to manage requests for accommodation, travel, transfers, accreditation, uniforms and catering. During the tournament phase itself, the Central Services Coordinator will process any last-minute requests and changes to pre-booked services received via a hotline.
Key responsibilities- Coordinating and taking part in the tournament staff needs assessment meeting with the relevant internal stakeholders- Maintaining and updating the EURO 2024 staffing plan using the database- Helping to coordinate accommodation requirements and changes associated with travel bookings- Handling requests and following up on them with the relevant services in cooperation with the various project teams- Coordinating flight and train bookings for staff travelling to the EURO 2024 venues, ensuring that UEFA’s Travel Policy is followed at all times- Leading the organisation of functional training courses- Providing project leaders and external suppliers with database training and support- Coordinating change management, communication lines and the tournament operations hotline- Supporting the training of members of the event-time hotline team- Helping to organise the draw for the EURO 2024 final- Working on other events as and when required
Experience required:- from 4 to 6 years / At least four years of relevant experience, preferably in the planning and management of travel and accommodation for major events.
Education:- Masters In sports event management or tourism.
Languages:- English / proficient
