ROLE DESCRIPTION

Post Title: CCO Development Manager
Role status: Full-time, permanent
Organisational base: Home-based
Reporting to: Governance and Compliance Manager
Salary: £31,843 with opportunity to progress plus benefits package

If you have the skills, creativity and commitment, if you share our passion, ambition and values, if you can influence people and build relationships, and if you can empower a network of 72 EFL Club Community Organisations (CCOs) to achieve a positive impact in the communities in which they operate, then there is an exciting role in our team supported by Sport England for you.
This is an exciting time to join us. Supporting our Governance and Quality Manager, and joining a vibrant and successful team, you will help take forward our work to enable CCOs to become and remain strong, sustainable organisations that are better able to achieve their social goals, tackle inequalities and meet the needs of their local community. This is a great chance to develop your career and to help us build collaboration across the sports charity sector and drive our innovation and impact.  You will have the support of an experienced and supportive team in an organisation which values people.
About us
The EFL Trust is the charitable arm of the EFL and uses that platform to improve lives and make a positive contribution to communities across England and Wales. Formed in 1888 by its twelve founder members, the EFL is the world's original league football competition and is the template for leagues the world over.
We use the profile of the English Football League (EFL) and its member clubs to reach and engage people but, what we do as a charity goes far beyond football.  We have a big ambition. We want to help improve health and wellbeing, and reduce the gap in healthy life expectancy, in communities across England and Wales.
You might be surprised to know that 47.6 million people live within 15 miles of an EFL Club and more than 40.4 million live within 10 miles. This represents 80% and 68% of the population across England and Wales respectively. Many of the communities surrounding EFL Clubs share challenges resulting from deprivation and other inequalities linked to income, health and education. Collectively, the network of CCOs engages with more than 840,000 participants ever year, delivering almost 580,000 hours of community activity  and  it is estimated that EFL Clubs and CCOs generate a total of £865million of social value across their full range of community initiatives, projects and programmes. Our existing work is already transforming the lives of thousands of people. We can do so much more and you can play and active part in doing so.

EFL Trust Benefits:
We are passionate about our people, and we think our benefits package enhances the wellbeing and job satisfaction of our employees.
