The development of young talent and giving young players a chance has long been at the centre of our philosophy, so our Academy is a vital part of our club and exists to develop Strong Young Gunners for the future.

We are looking for a Pre-Academy Goalkeeping Coach who will oversee and deliver training programmes for our Under 6 - Under 8 age groups. You'll also be working closely with our support departments to deliver both on and off field success for our young players.

Who We Are

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. Meeting regularly with our Pre-Academy Manager to review and track player progress, and to plan methods of improvement to help get the best out of our players.
Preparing and submitting player Individual Development Plans for all of our young goalkeepers.
Planning and submitting session plans, match reports, attendance and reviews to ensure we have the highest quality information available to inform our plans.
Maintaining and educating players and parents on discipline as set out in the Arsenal Football Club Code of Conduct.

An up to date Safeguarding Children Certificate and Emergency Aid.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a self-declaration and an enhanced DBS check. It is a requirement of the role that this applicant needs an acceptable criminal record check.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills with people of all ages. The ability to understand and empathise with our young players is vital, while also having the ability to build relationships with other coaches and the parents of the players.

Hours of Work

Hours of work will vary on a weekly basis and may include evening and weekend work.
