About the opportunity: For decades, our Clubs Academy has been one of the most respected and renowned in football, and its vision to develop young players who are technically and tactically capable of playing for Everton or having a career in the professional game remains as focused as ever.

We have recently undertaken a project to expand our local recruitment network and are looking for Local Academy Recruitment Scout to add to the network on a casual basis. These individuals help the Club identify the best players at relevant phases, in line with our Academy Recruitment Philosophy and Strategy.

Key elements of the role includes:


Attending fixtures as and when required (sometimes at short notice), subject to your availability
Identifying and recommending players of interest for the Everton Academy
Providing scouting reports using the relevant systems specified by the Club
Liaising with Lead Area Scouts to submit reports to the Clubs Academy Professional Recruitment Manager within specified timeframes
Notifying the relevant Lead Area Scouts of any player(s) you consider worthy of further assessment
Making good contacts and forming relationships with clubs in your region


Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for a Talent ID Level 1 qualified individuals that has an excellent track record in a similar role, an understanding of scouting protocols and best practice.

You must have the ability to create full scouting reports using system specified by the Club.

West, Mid, East Lancashire
Manchester & Greater Manchester
Wirral, Cheshire & North Wales
