Casual Academy Teacher (Maths or Science)
Accountable to: Education and Lifelong Learning Manager

What will you be doing?
You will be teaching and providing educational support/assistance within the Academy Education Department. Working closely with the Education Manager to assist the delivery of the education programme and progress of the Academy school boys/scholars whilst also supporting the wider arms of the department and organisation.
You will be based at Staplewood Training Ground located in Marchwood, Southampton. Just a 15-minute drive from the city centre and don’t worry there’s free parking!.
Is this you?
You are driven and enthusiastic in your teaching methods, have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in order to communicate with students of different ages as well as other teaching staff and members of the management team. We are seeking to recruit individuals who are subject specialists in either Maths or Science at GCSE level.
Experience of teaching KS4 Science or Maths
Essential Qualifications (including certifications):
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Excellent communication and listening skills
Excellent organisational skills
Good presentation skills
IT literate - excellent IT skills in Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint
Ability to plan, deliver and organise work in line with the curriculum
