Role description
Hull City Academy are currently looking for a confident and friendly individual to act on behalf of the Academy as Casual Matchday Coordinator. You will be the first point of contact, meeting and greeting parents, scouts and away teams in a professional and welcoming manner, offering directions and additional support when required.

Location: Academy Site - Bishop Burton, HU17 8QG, East Yorkshire
Salary: Minimum wage
Hours: Matchday weekends - Saturday 9:00am – 12:00pm, Sunday 9:00am – 12:00pm

Your key responsibilities
· Meet and greet travelling sides arriving on site, ensuring they know which dressing rooms and pitches each age group is to use
· Ensure all parents are aware of the correct pitches
· Ensure all scouts are met, signed in and escorted to the correct standing areas
· Ensure there is a separation between scouts and parents/players at all times
· Meet officials and put them in the correct dressing rooms
· Ensure all spectators stand in the correct places
· Provide teas and coffees for visiting coaches
What are we looking for?
· Give a good first impression of the Academy to all visitors.
· Willingness to work unsociable hours including weekends
· Ability to work alone
· Work well as part of an Academy Staff
· Ability to build maintain local relationships
· A can-do attitude and an ability to problem solve
· The safeguarding and welfare of our players is paramount and as such this position is subject to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
About Us
The Hull City Academy develops talented young footballers from the age of 8 to 21. There have been significant developments at the Academy since the club achieved Category Two status in the summer of 2015. The academy recruits players of outstanding potential that can be nurtured into future first-team regulars. In line with the Football Association’s charter of quality, the academy prepares players of the future for the club and enables them to progress both on and off the field.
Since the move to Category Two status, the academy has had in excess of 18 players appear for the first team in competitive fixtures. Local players now make up a large proportion of the first team squad, which represents a tremendous achievement for both the players and staff alike.
