PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):


Supervise the delivery; assessment and tracking of all scholars undertaking the Level 3 Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship & BTEC Level 3 in Sport pathway.
In partnership with the Head of Post 16 Education co-ordinate the planning, delivery, tracking and quality assurance for the Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship programme for 1st and 2nd year scholars.
Keep appropriate records and documentation as required by the Premier League & Chelsea FC to support progress and intervention.
Formatively and summatively assess scholars against the Apprenticeship Specification, preparing them for End Point Assessment (EPA).
Individual learners on the SEP or BTEC programme should be treated on their merits and decisions/assessments/recommendations should be based on objective course criteria rather than personal characteristics and attributes.

HERE TO WIN (Measures of Performance):

Ensure all apprentices successfully complete the Sporting Excellence ProfessionalApprenticeship and if applicable the Level 3 National Diploma in Sporting Excellence and Performance prior to completion of their scholarship.

PROUD TO BE CHELSEA:

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status
Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (or equivalent).

Experience:

The successful candidate should have experience of working in secondary and/or further education. An understanding of the demands of an elite sporting would be preferable.

Skills and Behaviours:

The ability to manage time with the scholars effectively, therefore it is crucial that the successful candidate can plan; organise and work smart in relation to the delivery of the relevant course curriculums. They need to be consistently engaging and conscientious, whilst demonstrating empathy and challenging expectations of each scholars educational progress.
