About this role:
Delivery of the BTEC sport qualification programme for the Under 18’s.
Responsibilities:
Delivering BTEC sport to the Under 18’s
Tracking and monitoring of player progression on the BTEC sport programme
Put in place individual learning plans for all learners.
Assess learner work and track grades in line with BTEC and Premier League guidelines.
Organise classroom and learning resources to encourage positive learning environment at the academy.
Liaising with education provider on delivery of BTEC Sport qualification
Attending relevant Premier League training for BTEC qualifications
Undertake duties and role of Lead BTEC Sport Tutor in their absence.
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
Experience working in an elite sporting environment (essential)
A1 Assessors qualification (desired)
A proven track record of delivering outstanding results for 16-19 year olds
An expert in delivery of the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sport Level 3
Experienced in tracking and monitoring BTEC Sport provision
Experience of BTEC Compliance and submission guidelines
Able to build strong relationships with students and professionals alike
