Job Description SummaryThe Sporting KC (Bilingual Spanish) Web Coordinator will be responsible for the organization’s marketing efforts via web, specifically leading the technical development, design and execution of multiple web properties’ content. This person should be a detail-oriented multi-tasker, have very strong writing and editing abilities (in English and Spanish), and can leverage internal and external data to inform our content roadmap via web.The position is to be a key contributor to the Marketing team while ensuring all work is consistent with the Sporting KC brand purpose: “We create memories through personalized experiences with our Club.”Sporting Kansas City is an equal opportunity employer.  We celebrate diversity and equity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all associates.  All associates are expected to positively collaborate with individuals of diverse backgrounds.  All talented individuals looking for a challenge are encouraged to apply.Job DescriptionEssential FunctionsDesign web content in various content management systems (Forge, Wordpress, SquareSpace, Shopify)Translate web content from English to SpanishAbility to create and build pages based off a wire frame/design layoutImplementation and execution of club’s SEO strategiesFluency in web analytics that drives site changes and new site developmentDrive the creation of page layout, style, and featuresProvide recommendations on best UI/UX practicesLiaise with Major League Soccer’s digital services team to ensure compliance with league-mandated web functionsLiaise with the Digital Media Manager and the Communications department to develop web executionsthat are reflective of the broader communications strategies as they relate to Sporting Kansas City’s soccer team and business goalsSupport Sporting Kansas City’s mission, vision and purposeRepresent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all timesPerform other related tasks as assignedMatch Day ResponsibilitiesFull-time associates act as representatives of Sporting Kansas City at all home matches, engaging with guests and working to create Magic Moments for all fansUpdate the Sporting KC website with matchday related content in both English and SpanishPerform other related duties as assignedPersonal AttributesStrong organizational, communications and interpersonal skillsAbility to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activitiesIndependent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workloadAbility to coordinate and lead multiple tasks and projectsAbility to demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
