BCWFC Performance Analyst
Location: Wast Hills Training Ground, Redhill Road, Birmingham, B38 9EL
Hours: Hours are set to meet the needs of the business but are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week

Develop and implement new strategies to enhance the player learning process.
Evaluation of game data and creation of key information on observed trends to coaching staff as required.
Be in attendance at all senior fixtures, including live recording and coding at those fixtures
Be in attendance at all senior training sessions, recording sessions when necessary, as directed by the Head Coach.
Uploading of footage and overall management of Analysis platforms.
Support and actively engage in the individual development plans for senior players.
Support analysis processes for the U21s WSL Academy side, to include, footage from senior training and matches to feed in to individual development plans, support and guidance to U21s staff as and when required and to provide frameworks for game data to improve performance of team and individuals based on game plans and training objectives.
Review and prepare opposition analysis, including set pieces, as directed by the Head Coach.
Manage the creation and development of individual & team highlights libraries.
Produce video content for recruitment staff to review potential targets and other tasks that may be required as per the recruitment process.
To provide further to support to the team as and when required, as directed by your Line Manager
Ensure compliance with all the Policies and Procedures contained within the Staff Handbook, paying particular regard to the Equal Opportunities Policy and Health & Safety Policy and procedures at all times.
Degree or relevant experience in Performance Analysis or relevant field.
Previous analysis experience with a minimum of 2 years working within professional football (at least one season leading analysis for a team)
A full UK driving license
Educated to masters degree level or equivalent.
UEFA B Licence or relevant coaching experience and qualifications.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience of working within a senior elite team
Knowledge and experience of Hudl, Sportscode and Wyscout platforms.
Strong IT Skills particularly around Microsoft Office and/or Numbers/Keynote/Pages
Ability to relate to and understand young people, demonstrating personality & enthusiasm. Previous experience of working within a Football Squad environment, delivering quality analytical information & presentations to aid team preparations.
Flexible and adaptable to the working patterns of elite sports environments.
Experience of multi-disciplinary team working
Ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities
Excellent communication skills
Be able to work in a professional and responsible manner.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the technical and tactical differences and similarities of professional football.
Provide live event feedback to coaches
Provide post-match statistical reports through a bespoke coding window
Provide individual and group training analysis
Well organised, able to prioritise workload whilst being flexible and able to cope with the demands of the role.
Punctual and have an excellent record of attendance.
Willing to learn and committed to achieving high standards within their work.
Good leadership skills, and able to support wider team members to achieve goals.

Terms of Appointment
37.5 hours per week.
20 days annual leave (rising by 1 day per completed year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days, plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
6-month probation period.

This role is regarded as a ‘Regulated Activity’ and is therefore subject to an Enhanced DBS check, (previously a CRB check) which includes the barred list for working with children. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
