Role description

Arsenal Women Football Club is one of the most successful female football clubs in the history of the women's game, currently playing in the FA WSL. It prides itself on maintaining high standards and delivering excellence.


To ensure key operational services are provided to the Women's First Team in a positive and progressive manner and in keeping with an elite sporting environment. To work closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure all related activities are planned and delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
Lead on all 1st Team registrations and submission of any contractual Paperwork via iFAS for 1st Team players and any non-contract player registrations from the academy to the 1st Team.
Complete the Club Affiliation Process each season by the required deadlines
Responsible for entering FA Cup Competitions and U21 Cup Competition paperwork
Lead and process all Discipline cases and process for 1st Team and WSL Academy
Lead on the usage of the International Transfer Matching System to ensure timely International Transfer Clearances are completed.
To be the UEFA "Main Contact" for any UWCL fixtures and to ensure compliance to UEFA Rules and Regulations. Working closely with Team Operations Manager (Main Team Contact for UEFA)
Distribute Match Confirmations to opponents and officials for AWFC First Team matches in line with WSL licensing and regulations.
To be knowledgeable of the WSL rules and regulations (as well as relevant Academy Team rules) in order to ensure full compliancy of AWFC First Team.
To attend FA meetings for League Competitions where required
Responsibility for meeting WSL Licence requirements & compliance of The FA Rules
UEFA Delegate Liaison Contact for Home Games (UWCL Only)
Ordering and Co-ordinating Match Pennants, UEFA Presentation Items and Match Day presentations player and staff (working closely with the Player Liaison Officer on Milestone awards)
Processing payments for GBE's / Affiliation / Discipline via the FA
Lead on internal distribution and updates on 1st Team Fixture List
To respond to all FA/Club Scout Ticket Requests (Home and Away)
Ensuring all club insurance documents are completed at the start of each season (working with Men's Club Secretary)
Working with the Team Operations Manager to co-ordinate Pre Season Fixtures
Main Contact for VIP ticket requests home and away (not present on match days)

Degree or equivalent
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Strong IT and project management skills;
Experience Required
Experience of Football administration ideally within Professional sports related environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build meaningful, strong strategic relationships with internal and external stake-holders.
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and independent travel.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Evidence of sound organisational skills & ability to multi-task
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Energy and enthusiasm
Previous experience of using Systems including Whole Game System, IFAS, TIME, TMS
Be able to work in a high-pressure environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment but also independently
Be familiar with Safeguarding requirements as outlined in the Safeguarding Policy and comply with its requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
Highly motivated self-starter
