As Audio Visual (AV) and Closed Access Television (CATV) Manager has the responsibility, under the guidance of the Senior Delivery Technology Manager, for the successful planning, implementation and management of assigned AV and CATV technology deliverables, utilising strong technical and contract management skills, ensuring all relevant services are delivered for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™.Additionally, the role will be responsible for authoring of Requests for Quotes (RFQ), including relevant technical specifications and evaluation criteria, providing specialist AV and CATV advice, engaging and monitoring contractors, venue personnel, freelancers, and other relevant personnel across tournament venues and non-competition venues.Job dutiesYour role as AV and CATV Manager includes the following responsibilities:

Video streaming service
Public Announcement Systems including Stadium bowl, standalone fixed or portable systems
Videoconference systems
Infotainment integration
Press Conference Systems
Interpretation services interfacing
Wired and wireless intercom systems
LED walls, projection systems and large television screens

Demand Management

Support Technology Equipment Allocation Process (TEAP) and integration with other functional areas and Technology services


Plan in collaboration with venues and FWWC colleagues for the support of relevant services during the event and readiness exercises
Prepare test procedures for the preparation and handover phases.
Provide subject matter expertise throughout the planning process
Systems designs sign-off


Ensure relevant systems have clear and agreed scope, delivered within budget and schedule.
Ensure that technical teams with required skill mix are in place to support AV and CATV systems and operations.
Coordinate and follow-up with service providers and venue owners to ensure delivery of assets and services as per agreed service levels, ensuring smooth exchange of information within collaborative groups
Track the progress of implementation leading up to the timely availability of components and services and including the commissioning/decommissioning of the systems in all venues.
Make sure that services are delivered as per FIFA Requirements, tested and handed over to operations, securing the transition from the project as per FWWC Support Model and SLAs agreed.


Report progress, issues and risks related to Technology projects and operations, according to governance principles, ensuring cross-team co-ordination and alignment
Effectively manage stakeholders and perform appropriate communication with relevant parties


Manage third-party (including venues and contractors) asset providers during event and readiness exercises
Ensure assets and services are delivered at agreed SLA and operational on-site support
Provide support and guidance to relevant stakeholders

Knowledge Sharing

Deliver technical guidance, coaching & mentoring to team members
Prepare good practice and educational material for personnel
