Title: Assistant Video Performance Analyst
Department: Soccer Operations
Reports to: Senior Video Performance Analyst
FLSA: Salary, Exempt WHAT SETS YOU APARTDo you have a keen eye and deep knowledge for soccer? As the OCB/Academy Video Performance Analyst you will develop video content that helps the coaching staff analyze the team’s training sessions and matches.  In addition, you will assist with the preparation of opposing teams through watching matches and providing a technical analysis regarding the oppositions pattern of play. Ready to be the eye of the lion?  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·       Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day video analysis needs for OCB DA·       Manage the Spiideo platform and account for day-to-day OCB DA recordings of training and matches.·       Work with the OCB coaching staff for day-to-day video needs as it relates to training, pre- and post-match analysis.·       Assist with video opposition reports for each OCB match to present to the OCB Head Coach and players·       Assist with pre- and post-match video analysis reports analyzing the team’s performance.·       Assist the Senior Video Performance Analyst with tying in the use of data provided by the Head of Analytics to accurately reflect such data using video presentation for the first team.·       Stay up-to-date and asses new video methods and technologies and make recommendations for new equipment and process enhancements.·       Manage all video equipment and keep an accurate inventory of all department hardware and software.·       Be available to assist with tasks in the office while the team is away●        Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONSIt’s never just a job at Orlando City SC.  It’s a way of life. To join our team, you will also possess these qualifications:·       Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in sports management or analytics.·       2+ years of progressive experience in sports.·       A strong understanding of the major league soccer industry and international soccer.·       Ability to multi-task, stay well organized and prioritize and execute without close supervision.·       Able and willing to travel as required.·       Enthusiastic and energetic team player.·       Ability to communicate in a direct, open, and honest manner while providing timely and professional customer service.·       Ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, players etc.·       Able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.·       Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, trilingual in Portuguese strongly preferred.·       Strong work ethic and friendly demeanor.·       Knowledge of the game of soccer and Orlando City SC.·       Well organized, attentive to detail while possessing and ability to prioritize and multi-task.·       Ability to work productively under pressure and be consistently proactive.·       Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite and all Microsoft applications.Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
