Position DescriptionReporting to the MNT Team Manager, the Assistant Team Administrator, MNT, ensures that the day-to-day operational environment for players, coaches, and staff meets the standard of care for a world-class sports team. This position focuses on logistical preparation, daily team operations, and administrative processes for the MNT.

Primary Responsibilities

Work in conjunction with the Team Manager, MNT, on all planning and operational aspects for the MNT
Interface with venue, transportation, and logistical staff daily
Coordinate all aspects of planning and execution of day-to-day team operations and logistics
Manage delegation travel such as flights ground transportation services
Compile and submit expenses, invoices, and reimbursements as necessary
Interface with the Team Manager on team environment requirements and team objectives
Organize scouting logistics and planning for MNT staff for domestic and international matches
Assist in MNT onboarding procedures and compliance
Advance the team to venues and prepare all hotel, training sites, and ground transportation for team arrival
Conduct site inspections on future venues to ensure hotel, meals, and training facilities meet MNT standards
Serve as the Asst. Team Administrator, Men National Team (MNT) and may assist other Youth National Teams as needed
Other related duties and assignments as required


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
General knowledge of soccer
Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments
Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize workflow
Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission
Ability to deliver high-quality work and execute under pressure and deadlines
Detailed-oriented and meticulous work style
Excellent written and verbal communication combined with a professional demeanor
Excellent work ethic and relentless desire to contribute to the team success on the field
Experience in managing a budget, travel (domestic and international), and operations for an elite sports team
Uncompromising ethical standards, trustworthy and discreet
Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Able and willing to travel up to 50% of the year, domestic and international
Able and willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Desired Qualifications

Bilingual (English, Spanish or other)
Elevated critical thinking skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate with others
Achievement-oriented and confident with a drive to succeed
Thorough institutional knowledge of U.S. Soccer mission, goals, technical plan, policies, practices, and procedures
Previous experience with a club or national team
