Role description
The Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Performance Analyst to join the Manchester United First Team. As an Assistant Performance Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the team's performance analysis activities, underpinning the valuable insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance player and team decision-making and performance.
Your focus will be on coding match footage, collecting information and data, and assisting in the provision of footage (filming/recording training and matches when required). This position requires a strong understanding of elite level football, excellent organisational and analytical skills, and proficiency in using specific performance analysis software.
The Role:
Responsibilities of the Assistant Performance Analyst are as followed;
Analysis service support covering pre-match, in-match, post-match and training
Matchday support (home/away and domestic/abroad)
Video and data creation, collection and organisation
Organisation and management of department processes (analytical and non-analytical)
Organisation and management of department equipment
The Person:
REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a performance analyst in Professional Football (Premier League and European experience preferrable)
Strong proficiency in performance analysis software such as Angles, Piero and Wyscout.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of elite level football
DESIRABLE
UK drone flying licence
