They will work closely with management and coaches to manage, maintain, and distribute the club's athletic gear and equipment. They will ensure players and coaches have the proper clothing and equipment to perform on the field.
ABOUT ST. LOUIS CITY SC:Major League Soccer's (MLS) first majority female-owned and female-led organization will play its inaugural MLS season in 2023. The 100 percent St. Louis-based owners are committed to becoming an exceptional club and neighbor and a symbol for the future of our city and region.St. Louis CITY SC will play in a brand new, state-of-the-art soccer stadium to be built on approximately 35 acres in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Seating capacity of the open-air stadium will be 22,500. Included with the build of the stadium will be the team Administrative Offices and Training Facility immediately adjacent to the stadium in Downtown West St. Louis.
Provide the proper equipment for players and coaches at trainings and matches
Assist in the set-up and breakdown of training sessions to ensure an efficient flow throughout
Travel to away matches when necessary and assist in the transportation and management of equipment for the duration of the trip
Oversee fitting and necessary adjustments for uniforms and gear
May be asked to support academy teams when necessary, this includes helping at training sessions and both home and away matches
Assist Equipment Manager in tracking inventory and budget
Oversee locker room maintenance
Ensure the availability of food, water, gear, etc.

Education and Experience

High school diploma/GED required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Relevant work experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Aligned with St. Louis CITY's vision and culture
Ability to travel to home and away matches
A base knowledge of soccer tactics, sport science, and multidisciplinary development
An eagerness to learn and develop knowledge and skills
A high standard of work performance and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality results
Detail-oriented and organized with effective time management and prioritization skills
Flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with both internal and external constituents
Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to manage and resolve tensions, disputes and conflicts
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical EffortThis position will require talking, listening, standing, and occasionally lifting heavy objects. Must be able to work on a full-time basis.Out-of-Office ResponsibilitiesMust be able to work evenings, weekends, events, and holidays as required. This position will require flexibility of work schedule. Travel includes frequently driving a motor vehicle, valid driver's license with insurance is required.
