This position will provide administrative and operational support for the football program, following strict adherence to University policies, NCAA and PAC-12 rules and regulations. This is a fixed-term position with the opportunity for renewal on an annual basis. This position is based on the Stanford main campus.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist football operations and player development staff with all aspects of team travel, community outreach, alumni relations, external relations and compliance-related items.
Assist football operations with all aspects of special events (team banquet, pro timing camp, agent day, alumni events, camps & clinics, team/staff events, etc.)
Serve as administrative assistant to the Head Coach (calendar scheduling, travel, special requests, other duties as assigned)
Assist with organizing on-campus recruiting visits for unofficial and official student-athlete prospects.
Maintain team calendar and daily schedules using Teamworks software
Assist with roster management included add/drop forms, player game participation and CARA logs.
Greet visitors and route them to appropriate individuals, answer phones, and serve as a resource on unit procedures and general inquiries.
Perform office duties including, but not limited to, handling of incoming and outgoing mail and monitoring and ordering of office supplies.
Coordinate staff and player meals as well as entertainment events for the student-athletes
Plan head coach travel and initiate purchase requisitions.
Arrange meetings and assist with routine conferences including scheduling rooms, managing equipment, and assembling materials.
Setup office spaces and/or support coordination of basic office moves.
May provide guidance to interns, hourly and student employees on routine matters.
Additional duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in college or professional athletics preferred.
Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
Experience with software such as Teamworks, ARMS, HUDL or other services.
Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

The expected pay range for this position is $44,000 - $60,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
