About this role:
Crystal Palace FC are seeking an adept and flexible candidate to assist with the effective and efficient running of the Football Operations department. Reporting to the Club Secretary, the individual will be tasked with providing comprehensive support in all aspects of football operations procedures. The candidate will be someone who wishes to progress their career in football administration.
Responsibilities:
Support the Club Secretary and General Counsel with preparation of all documentation in relation to player registrations, ITC, visa applications, Sponsor Management System; Solidarity payments
Show efficient file management of all required player documentation including preparation of reports
Liaise with The FA / Premier League / opposition clubs / local stakeholders and match officials with regards to match arrangements
Assist with first team travel and accommodation requirements and planning
Providing administration support to first team management
Monitor player disciplinary
Liaise with National Associations regarding the selection of players for International duty
Undertake other duties as required
Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
Upholding and promoting the Clubs policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant experience of sports administration at a football club or within a sporting governing body
Strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of the football authorities including FIFA, UEFA, The FA and The Premier League
Experience of working to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
A high level of attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Strong organisation skills in order to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent IT skills and proficient in all Microsoft Office programmes
Able to work under pressure, plan and organise your own workload
Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Discrete and understand how to deal with sensitive and highly confidential information
Flexible with regards to working hours
