Job Title:  Assistant Academy Manager
Salary: Dependant on skills & experience. To include accommodation/relocation allowance for those based outside of Sussex.
Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing
Hours: Full-time requiring the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Permanent
Deadline Day: 19th February 2024
Start date: We are looking for this role to begin at the start of the 24/25 season, from 1st July 2024 (subject to satisfactory employment vetting and safer recruitment checks).

Drive our vision at our Category 1 Boy’s Academy
You may have seen football documentaries on Netflix, but the real story will be bigger, and involve many more people from across the Club and you could be a part of that!
You will work alongside the Academy Manager to manage our strategy and multidisciplinary development programme in our boy’s academy.  This role offers you the opportunity to work alongside some very talented people, from our coaches to medical team and you will ensure all academy policies, rules and protocols are being adhered to by staff and players.
Do you have what it takes?
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a professional football academy environment in a related or similar role and will understand EPPP and category one requirements. The successful person will be a modern thinker, fully conversant with modern methods and technology and adept at creating a culture of continuous improvement.  You will be passionate about player development and strive to always be the best.
