SENIOR WOMENS HEAD COACH 2023
The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club is seeking to appoint a Senior Women Head Coach to join our successful football program. This role is responsible for the Senior Women team as well as overseeing the Womens football program.
Reporting to the Football Director, our ideal candidate will be an experienced coach in either Women's or Men's football programs and have a passion for the development of Women in football.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the on-field performance of the women's Senior team
Providing leadership to all players and coaches within the women's football program
Leading player development as well as team selection
Driving player recruitment on a coordinated basis with the Football Director
Leading and organising both training and game days
Building and developing relationships with players, coaches, committee members and key stakeholders
Setting standards for both coaches and players
KEY CRITERIA
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Passion for the development of women's football
Previous experience in coaching women's or men's football teams
Level 1 AFL coaching accreditation or higher
BACKGROUND OF MARCELLIN OLD COLLEGIANS FOOTBALL CLUB
The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club was established in 1968 and has been a successful and competitive club within the Victorian Amateur Football Association in its 54 year history.
Our women's program was established in 2017 in which it won the Premier Division Premiership. Since then the program has seen consistent success, with the Reserves winning the Premier Division Reserves Premiership a year later in 2018 and both the Senior and Reserves teams going undefeated in 2021.
