This will be a three- to six-month internship position that will work alongside the Director of Academy Performance. Job Responsibilities:Support GPS distribution/collection, live session tracking, post-training download/cutting/analysis, and reportingSupport monitoring, testing administration, RPE collection, compiling, and reportingContribute and advance data collection, analytics, reportingAssist with daily operations and administrative tasksAssist in additional tasks as directed by the Director of Academy Performance Qualifications: College Senior status pursuing degree in Sports Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or closely related fieldCompetency in data science, including use of Microsoft Excel, GPS systems, Monitoring software, AMS softwareMust demonstrate intention to work in High-Performance SportAbility to contribute to a High-Performance environment and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary teamMust be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or closely related fieldNSCA Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or NSCA Certified Performance Sport Scientist (CPSS)Previous experience in a football environmentHave a conceptual understanding of Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD)Please note:Chicago Fire FC is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
