About the job
Al Jazira Football Academy is seeking a Program Lead to spearhead an elite program across our Talent Centres. This role focuses on nurturing talented players and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will ensure players participate in suitable competitions to aid their development and will oversee daily operations while supporting staff management.


Key Responsibilities:

Support the Junior Academy Manager in implementing coaching materials within Al Jazira's coaching philosophy and methodology.
Develop, manage, and coordinate the Talent Centres, including coaches and support staff.
Maintain effective communication with families.
Manage and ensure the content delivered in the Talent Centres aligns with the club’s methodology.
Ensure coaching resources and equipment meet high standards in appearance and functionality.
Proactively support and contribute to projects initiated by the Junior Academy Manager.
Take a proactive and forward-thinking approach to program development.
Maintain high standards of professionalism in appearance and behavior.
Adhere to club Codes of Conduct.
Communicate and uphold the club’s Philosophy, Culture, Values, and Vision.
Contribute to maintaining the club’s high standards.
Ensure implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.


General Responsibilities:

Adhere to all club policies, health and safety procedures, and safeguarding policies.
Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
Undertake other duties as required.

Essential Requirements:

UEFA B license or BSc in Sport/Management.
Experience in managing player development and football programs.
Strong English language skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills in a similar role.
Competent IT skills.


Desirable Qualifications:

Experience in managing staff.
Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS) Certificate.
Additional language skills, e.g., Arabic.


Safeguarding Statement:

Due to our safeguarding commitment, all roles involving children will require a local police check upon starting employment. Staff are expected to uphold responsibilities outlined in our safeguarding policy and procedure.


What We Offer:

Competitive compensation ranging from AED 14,000 to AED 18,000, subject to qualifications and experience.
Based in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Contract Term: 1 year (Season 2024/2025).
Full-time position: A minimum of 35 hours per week, with flexible scheduling that may include weekends.
