Job Title: Academy Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist (Part-time)

Employer: Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club

Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing and off-site when required for away matches.

Hours: Part-time, hourly paid

Salary: £14 - £16 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Job Type: Casual

Support our physiotherapist team with match day cover and training sessions

You will be responsible for assessing acute injuries at the pitch side of matches and provide a management plan to coaches of that team and report all injuries, outcome measures and treatment plans to the Head Academy Physiotherapist. The age group you would work with would be the U9’s through to the under 16’s. In addition, the post-holder will be involved in providing acute injury management and advice to players and parents. This part-time role would predominately be based on weekends but would also require evening and regular travel to away games.

Your physiotherapist background

The successful candidate must hold the following qualifications:

BSc Physiotherapy degree or BSc Sports Therapy degree.
Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
A valid and up to date pitch side first aid qualification (BFAS/FA ATMMiF)

It would be beneficial to have the experience of working within a professional sporting environment and experience and interest in the provision of physiotherapy to young elite athletes.

The successful candidate must also be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS CRC (Criminal Background Check).
