Role description

Coventry City Academy is looking to recruit a full-time Academy Performance Analyst to assist the Lead Academy Analyst in the holistic development of players within the Club.
The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and deliver high quality performance analysis support to players and staff across the Academy. You will support the Academy playing philosophy, training and ILPs with primarily focus on the U16-18 squads.
An overview of the role is:






Filming Academy homes fixtures on weekends and training sessions during the week
Coding and editing video footage of games to be used for pre & post-match presentations.
Managing and maintaining large statistical databases.
Compile detailed opposition reports.
Create in-depth post-match handout containing statistical and performance data.
Working within the PDP assisting with individual players KPI.
Assist in creating relevant presentations for various age groups.
Aiding to support work placement students when required.
Collating a best practice portfolio of training and match clips.
To contribute to CPDs sessions throughout the season with the Performance department.
Collect and present back 6-week Academy playing philosophy reports back to senior management.
Managing training analysis reports (PDP).
Other ad hoc duties.
Safeguarding and Welfare is the responsibility of all Academy staff members.
Ensure and support the welfare of all Academy players daily.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Achieved a minimum 2:1 in a Sports related degree (E).
2 or more years’ experience using SportsCode, Hudl (Studio) & Nacsport software (E).
Excellent IT skills; particularly competent on excel, Keynote, iMovies (E).
A MSc in Sports Performance Analysis (D).
Proficient in Tableau (D).
