ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an Academy Performance Analyst to work alongside the Head of Academy Analysis and provide elite performance analysis support across the academy. The Academy Performance Analysis Department aims to maximize the skillsets of each individual staff member to enhance the content produced within each area of our delivery cycle. The department collaborates with coaching staff to deliver high-quality analysis content through various methods, supporting the Academy's technical and tactical program.
Key Responsibilities:
Film and code games and training sessions as required.
Deliver pre-match, live, and post-match analysis that aligns with the Academy’s Development Philosophy and supports the individual development of each player.
Analyze player development through training/match footage and coach assessments to assist in creating individual development programs and aiding player pathways.
Analyze opposition match footage, providing insights to the relevant coaching staff and creating detailed reports to facilitate game plan creation when required.
Continually maintain individual player development databases for tracking and benchmarking players.
Contribute to the development and management of best practice video libraries for use in coach education.
Share relevant video, data, and other resources with staff, players, and parents using various technology platforms.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept to the appropriate standards.
Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required by the line manager.

Essential:
Experience:
Experience working in an elite sporting environment.
AFA D Licence or Level 2 equivalent Coaching qualification.
A high level of tactical/technical football knowledge.
Experience of providing analysis support within an elite football club/organization.
Excellent understanding of the Hudl Pro Suite (Sportscode, Hudl, Studio) or other analysis software.
Experience of setting up equipment and filming games in wide angle using cameras + HiPods.
Experience and understanding of video editing software.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office and Apple software.

Additional language skills, e.g., Arabic, French.
BSc/MSc in Performance Analysis or Sport Science.
Experience working with large datasets.
Experience using data analysis/visualization software, e.g., Tableau, Power BI.
Coaching Experience + AFA C License.

What We Offer:
Competitive compensation: AED 6,000 to AED 8,000, based on qualifications and experience.
Location: Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi, UAE + Away Matches When Required
Contract Term: 1 year (Season 2024/2025).
Full-time position: Minimum 35 hours per week, flexible schedule including weekends.
