Job Brief/ Academy Head Coach Under 13

Al Jazira Football Academy is currently seeking a dedicated Head Coach for the Under 13 team. This role is responsible for setting the tone of the football team, encompassing everything from organizing players and practices, teaching fundamentals and strategies, and supplying leadership and motivation. The Head Coach plays a pivotal role in developing players' skills and fostering a positive team environment.

As the Head Coach, you'll set the tone for our football team. From organizing players and practices
to teaching fundamentals and strategies, your leadership and motivation will be pivotal. This role is
essential for developing players' skills and fostering a positive team environment.
Role mandatory prerequisites
• Based in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi, UAE
• UEFA / AFC A licence (Must have)
• Fluent in English
Key Responsibilities:
• Work effectively within a high-performance environment.
• Demonstrate ambition and a desire to excel as a Head Coach.
• Adopt a multi-disciplinary approach for the holistic development of youth players.
• Attend, supervise, and deliver coaching sessions as directed for players.
• Provide pre-match and post-match analysis for individuals and teams.
• Support Coaches with playing methodology and player pathways.
• Deliver elite-level coaching within the club’s methodology framework.
• Assist in managing player transitions within the Phase.
• Prepare, deliver, and record players’ Individual Development Plans.
• Collaborate closely with various Academy departments.
• Conduct and record seven-week player reviews.
• Ensure completion and upkeep of all administrative tasks.
• Attend UAE Football Association/Al Jazira FC Workshops/CPD events.
• Pursue personal learning and stay updated with modern trends in elite age bands.
• Maintain the highest UEFA/AFC Coaching License and relevant qualifications.
• Establish positive relationships with players, staff, and parents.
• Adhere to club Codes of Conduct.
• Communicate and adhere to the club’s Philosophy, Culture, Values, and Vision.
• Contribute to maintaining the Academy’s high standards.
• Ensure implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
General Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all club policies, health and safety procedures, and safeguarding policies.
• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct at all times.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required.
Key Relationships:
• Academy Technical Director
• U21 Head Coach
• Scouting & Recruitment staff
• Performance teams (Medical, Sports Science, Performance Analysis & Human Science)
• Operations team (including Welfare & Education)
• External stakeholders (e.g., UAE FA, UAE Pro League)
Essential Qualifications:
• UEFA / AFC A licence
• Experience working within an elite football environment and/or Academy structure
• Strong English language skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills developed in a similar role
• Competent IT skills
Desirable Qualifications:
• Good level of playing experience
• Coaching and/or Management of Players and Staff within the Professional Development
Phase
• Advanced Youth Award
• Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS) Certificate
• Additional language skills, e.g., Arabic, Spanish, French

What we offer:
• Competitive compensation ranging from AED 28,000 to AED 33,000, subject to qualifications and
experience.
• Full-time position: A minimum of 35 hours per week, with flexible scheduling that may include
weekends.
