SUMMARY OF ROLE:

We currently have an opportunity for a Academy Football Administrator at our fantastic Academy based at our training grounds in Wetherby. This is a great opportunity for driven individuals who relish a challenge and are driven to succeed in a fast and innovative environment.

The Academy Football Administrator is responsible for all administrative matters relating to the Academy and provides administrative assistance to the Academy Management Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the main point of contact between the Academy and the League on all relevant administrative matters, including the submission of required information.
Manage the player registration processes and the relevant submissions to the League for:

Academy player registrations
Scholarship registrations
Trialist registrations
Act as the main point of contact for Clubs and other external stakeholders on all matters relating to player registrations.
Lead on the delivery of the player onboarding process for Academy and development players, ensuring all required information and consent is obtained, recorded, and shared appropriately.
Provide guidance to Academy staff on matters relating to YD rule compliance, with a specific focus on player registrations and related matters.
Ensure all Academy players and trialists have a valid PRS card.


Lead the staff onboarding process for all Academy staff in conjunction with the HR and Safeguarding teams.
Attend all weekly operational meetings across the Academy.
Assist in the planning of the Academy schedule and ensure the effective communication to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in the organisation of the Academy games programme and ensure effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a point of contact for leagues, associations, and all other relevant external stakeholders on matters relating to the games programme.
Act as a superuser for the Club’s communication and scheduling platform
Act as a point of contact for Academy Parents on matters relating to scheduling and the games programme.
Lead the planning and delivery of the trips and tours programme for the U9 to U16 age groups.
Assist with the booking of travel and accommodation for players and staff as required by the Academy Manager.
Manage the Academy complimentary ticket allocation for First Team and Under 21 games at Elland Road and alternative venues.
Carry out any further administrative duties as required by the Academy Manager.

Experience of working in an Academy or sports related environment.
Ability to co-ordinate and multi task.
Ability to be pro-active and organized.
Excellent communication skills.
