Role description

The Academy Equipment Manager would be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management and preparation of equipment needs for one or more of the St. Louis CITY SC academy teams, players, and staff. They will work closely with management and coaches to manage, maintain, and distribute the club's athletic gear and equipment. They will ensure players and coaches have the proper clothing and equipment to perform on the field.About TKFC LC | St. Louis CITY SCIn August 2019, TKFC LC was granted Major League Soccer's (MLS) 28th team - St. Louis CITY SC. The team will be MLS' first majority female-owned and female-led organization and has its sights set on launching for the 2023 MLS season. These characteristics define the team's culture, and the team's employees must also embody these traits.Responsibilities and DutiesProvide the proper equipment for players and coaches at trainings and matchesTravel to away matches when necessary and assist in the transportation and management of equipment for the duration of the tripOversee fitting and necessary adjustments for uniforms and gearResponsible for laundering of gear for players and staff after training sessions/gamesOversee locker room maintenanceQualificationsProven ability to work in a team-oriented environmentAligned with St. Louis CITY's vision and cultureAbility to travel to home and away matchesA base knowledge of soccer tacticsAn eagerness to learn and develop knowledge and skillsA high standard of work performance and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality resultsDetail-oriented and organized with effective time management and prioritization skillsFlexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needsStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with both internal and external constituentsExcellent facilitation skills, including the ability to manage and resolve tensions, disputes and conflictsProficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPointSt. Louis CITY SC is building a team that is passionate about their work, the success of our Club and the growth and revitalization of our region.
