Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is an English Premier League Club, based in North London.

Led by the late great Bill Nicholson, the Club became the first in England to win the League and FA Cup Double in 1961, and the first in the UK to win a European Trophy two years later. Spurs has since been home to some of the game great entertainers, including Jimmy Greaves, Glenn Hoddle, Paul Gascoigne, David Ginola, Gareth Bale, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane.

In April 2019, the Club opened an iconic new stadium that sits at the heart of a 1billion sport-led regeneration of North Tottenham. The stadium is the largest football club stadium in London and is a multi-use venue with the ability to host a variety of events 365 days a year, including NFL, boxing, rugby, concerts, and other major events, plus visitor attractions including Stadium Tours and the Dare Skywalk.

The stadium development scheme has to date created more than 4,000 new jobs for local people, with circa 300m pumped into the local economy each year.

The successful candidates will work as part of the Academy Transport Team to provide safe transportation of passengers as assigned by the Academy Transport Coordinator. To drive the minibus to transport THFC Academy Players in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Highway Code. To maintain passenger, staff and public safety whilst on the highway. You will provide basic maintenance and checks of the minibus e.g. oil levels, cleaning of vehicle to maintain basic working order and prevent unnecessary deterioration of the vehicle.

At the commencement of the journey check that seat belts are fastened and bags and equipment are secured. Throughout the journey ensure that passengers remain seated, stopping when necessary to ensure that the safety of passengers and staff is maintained at all times.

Key Responsbilities

Carry out basic maintenance checks on vehicles
Maintain vehicle hygiene
Drive the minibus in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Highway Code (i.e. adhering to road signals, respecting other drivers, etc.)
Keeping daily logs of mileage and vehicle checks
Transport academy boys to and from their residence to training grounds and football matches.
Pick up from and drop off to Airports for tour matches
Pick up Day Release players from schools
Pick up trial players from stations and Airports.

Skills And Experience

Have experience driving a minibus
Have held had a driving licence for at least 2 years and be 25 years of age or over.
Experience of working with young people (16-21 year-olds)
Experience of working in the bus industry/community transport sector.
Good organisational and personal management skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to deal with day to day issues on own initiative
Effective time management
Ability to relate well to children and adults

The post holder will be required to complete a Practical Driver Assessment
Flexibility and availability at weekends
