CLUB VACANCIES

We’re hiring in our ever expanding football department. Newtown AFC are looking for dedicated coaches that have a desire to be part of our FAW Category A academy. Candidates should have a professional outlook, be conscientious and be good team players.

Head of Goalkeeping

Oversee goalkeeping provision including academy and first team.
Plan and deliver sessions for our first team goalkeepers in line with first team playing style and requirements.
Plan and deliver sessions for our academy goalkeepers in line with GK curriculum.
Deliver GK reviews in line with academy requirements.
Good IT skills would be preferable.
Hold a UEFA A GK license (desirable) / UEFA B GK license (minimum)
Academy Goalkeeping Coach

Plan and deliver academy GK sessions in line with GK curriculum.
Deliver GK reviews in line with academy requirements.
Attend academy fixtures.
Good IT skills would be preferable.
Hold a UEFA B GK license (desirable) / FAW C GK license (minimum).
Pre-Academy Phase Coach (8-11yrs)

Plan and deliver academy sessions in line with our age appropriate academy curriculum.
Deliver player reviews in line with academy requirements.
Deliver individual learning plans (ILP’s) to each player and ensure these are followed throughout the season.
Attend staff CPD events.
Good IT skills would be preferable.
Hold minimum UEFA B license (desirable) / UEFA/FAW C license (minimum).
Please note that our pre academy phase teams train twice per week and play on Saturday mornings.

Academy Phase Coach (12-16yrs)

Plan and deliver academy sessions in line with our age appropriate academy curriculum.
Deliver player reviews in line with academy requirements.
Deliver individual learning plans (ILP’s) to each player and ensure these are followed throughout the season.
Deliver pre match meetings/weekly player review meetings.
Attend staff CPD events.
Good IT skills would be preferable.
Hold minimum UEFA B license (desirable) / UEFA/FAW C license (minimum).
Please note that our academy phase teams train three times per week and play on a Sunday.
