THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rangers Football Club as an Academy Coach working within the Foundation Phase (U8 to U12) and Youth Development Phase (U13 to U16). The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for designing and delivering exciting, creative and age-appropriate coaching sessions in line with our football coaching methodology and our ‘READY’ values.
Aside from the excitement of working for one of Europe’s largest and most historic football clubs, and with some of the countries best young talent, the successful candidates will benefit from extensive support, mentoring and an individual coach action plan to invest in them and their coaching journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To design and deliver age-appropriate exciting coaching sessions to different Foundation Phase and Youth Development age groups in line with the current academy football methodology and coaching DNA.
To prepare, coach and lead games and tournaments in line with our football methodology and behaviours.
To work collaboratively with other coaches, Head of Phase and Head of Coaching to maximise the development of the players.
To attend and contribute to Continued Professional Development (CPD) for Academy staff as and when required.
To further develop and improve the curriculum and methodology through research and projects and be an ‘all in’ energetic member of a dynamic coaching team
To undertake duties in a professional manner in line with coach’s code of conduct and actively promote Rangers Football Club.
To adhere to all club policies and ensure the implementation of the club’s child protection and wellbeing policy.

Coach Educated to the required qualification:Foundation Phase Minimum: Advance Children License
Youth Development phase Minimum: UEFA Elite Youth A License/ UEFA A Licence / UEFA Pro Licence
