Academy Coach & Elite Performance Coordinator

Position Summary:

This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Elite Performance Program in addition to coaching two ECNL teams within our Boys Program. This position will report directly to our Technical Director and Boys Academy Director.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

USSF A / B License (or international equivalent).
Minimum of 5+ years coaching within national level leagues or at the collegiate level (ECNL, Development Academy, USYS National League, NCAA, NAIA).
In-depth knowledge of the college recruitment and placement process.
Track record of developing collegiate/professional players.
A passion for youth development and ability to work as part of a high functioning team.
Ability to work in a structure with a defined style-of-play, curriculum, and player development philosophy.
In-depth knowledge of domestic and international youth development trends, systems, and best practices.
An understanding of the regional and national soccer landscape.

Administrative Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required (Sports Management, Business Administration).
Technology: proficient with InStat, Sports Session Planner, Veo, and Google products.
Excellent communicator (written and verbal).
Creative & innovative.
Collaborative and people person.
Detail-oriented and well organized.
Valid driver's license and personal transportation.
Candidate must provide up-to-date PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal Background Check.
Provide weekly technical reports to the leadership team.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
On field: * 6 weekly training sessions plus weekend events.
Off field: *20+ hours administrative duties/program management.

Essential Functions:

Elite Performance Program:

Create, manage, and maintain individual development plans (IDP’s) for our most talented players.
Direct monthly ‘best with best’ programming across the U12-U19 age groups.
Manage an annual competition plan that includes a local and regional schedule.
Manage the fall Super Cup team/program (high school alternate programming).

ECNL Program Head Coach:

Coach two teams within our Boys ECNL program.
In-season * 3 weekly training sessions per team.
In-Season * 1-2 weekend events (games/practices) per team.
