RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
Purpose of this JobAs the Academy Athletic Trainer, you will manage the daily sports medicine operations for our youth academy soccer teams. In this capacity, you will provide injury prevention strategies, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for players' medical problems. The performance of your duties will be under the direction and supervision of both our Head of Soccer Medicine and Performance and Academy Director.
Areas that play to your strengths•             You will collaborate with our other Academy Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach under the guidance of our Head of Soccer Medicine and Performance.•             Attend all training, scrimmages, and home and away games.•             Provide first aid/emergency care, on-site injury evaluation, and application of appropriate modalities, develop rehabilitation and prevention programs, conduct rehabilitation, and make medical referrals.•             Comply with OSHA standards with regard to blood borne pathogens.•             Maintain medical records, initiate insurance claims, compile reports for US Youth Soccer and MLS Next and provide medical information to the Team Physician and First Team Head Athletic Trainer.•             Oversee 3rd Party Athletic Trainers.•             Provide coverage for First and Second Team as needed.
Your areas of expertise that matter most for this role:•             One (1) year of certified athletic trainer experience in a team sports environment•             Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing, NATA & BOC•             State of NJ Athletic Trainer License•             Current CPR Certification•             Have personal professional liability insurance•             Reliable form of transportation•             The physical demands for this role include remaining in a stationary position (often standing) for prolonged periods, quickly responding to incidents with short notice and medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, you may be asked to work varying schedules to reflect our needs (includes nights, weekends and holidays).
