ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Menace is looking for highly motivated college students interested in being a part of the United Soccer League team in Des Moines. The ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative, the ability to multi-task, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. This is a paid, full-time summer position.

Responsibilities

Traveling with the Menace United Soccer League team and assisting in travel logistics and game-day preparations.
Working with coaches and staff in creating and communicating travel itineraries.
Assisting in equipment maintenance including cleaning uniforms and setting up locker rooms
Compiling and posting stats for home games
Copying and distributing game film in a timely manner
Leading game-day stadium set-up.
As available, assisting with the menace youth tournaments in late April/early May
Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

High levels of responsibility, organization, and initiative
A passion for sports and knowledge of the game of soccer
Ability to problem solve and think on the fly in a fast-paced (sometimes chaotic) environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proven team player who is willing to work long days, nights, and weekends
