About the job
The New York Red Bulls are one of 29 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).

This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

What You'll Do

Capture Training for U14 and 13 (as much as possible) Operate camera during game day Keep Hudl up to date and organized for appropriate age groups Assist in coding post match topics for U14 and 13 (more in depth for 14, basic for 13) Assist U13 coach in post match review presentations where requested. Assist in individual player analysis at multiple age groups Assist on Goal of the Week, Player of the Month, and other such projects.

VIDEO CAPTURE

Capture game day footage. Manage video databases.

TACTICAL ANALYSIS:

Assist in team analysis for post match, opposition scout presentations for coaching staff. Assist in individual analysis for group and individual meetings. Video databasing for individual players based on KPI’s

DATA CAPTURE

Collect game information to send to statsbomb. Statsbomb data analysis for team performance

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

Strong tactical knowledge of soccer
Coaching experience preferred but not required
Experience with video hardware and software
Detail oriented mindset
Constant drive for self improvement
Ability to present information to medium sized groups
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
