NOTES: Intern must be able to receive academic credit for this internshipINTERNSHIP SUMMARYInterns will have the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and vision of Orlando City SC, understanding the importance of how a professional sports organization works (which could include sales, marketing, public relations, operations, or the internal working of the Club), to further develop general critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, communication, and writing skills.WHAT SETS YOU APARTOrlando City SC is seeking hardworking, positive and passionate individuals who wish to supplement their classroom instruction with practical experience facilitating events, experiential marketing, and community relations. We seek someone with a strong grasp of our culture, superior organization skills, an unequaled work ethic and a creative mind to help us achieve our goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:● Assist with the coordination of Team City, grassroots marketing efforts, gameday entertainment, and community events.● Learn how to activate promotions, organize events, promote the Club with the community and lead the part time grassroots street team. ● Collaborate with internal departments such as Ticket Sales, Corporate Partners, Gameday Operations and Stadium Operations to effectively manage marketing assets as needed.● Create/Provide unique and fun opportunities for the Central Florida community to get involved with the brand and grow the game of soccer.● In addition to daily assignments, each student will have the opportunity to learn and be involved with assignments such as the execution of gameday themes, coordinating production areas, and activating sponsorship assets. ● Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this internship successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of eligibility requirements, knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary: ● Applicants should be working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in Sports Marketing, Sports Business, Community Relations and/or Event Management.● Strong written and verbal skills.● Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects and timelines.● An Innovative Individual who can come up with ideas and work extremely well within a team to come up with creative solutions and identify new opportunities, often in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment.● Strong attention to small details is a must.● Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere.● Strong interest in soccer and sports is a plus.● A sense of humor is a must (prepare to tell us about a good joke in your interview).● Internship will be around 20 hours weekly.● Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.● Must be able to lift 50 poundsOther Details:● Duration of internship depends on the applicant's ability to receive academic credit for this opportunity.

Due to COVID 19, policies and procedures related to non-full-time employees working at our office at Exploria Stadium may dictate that the role becomes a telework opportunity.
